We welcome new, used and secondhand dresses in all sizes, styles, and colours.

There is a small, one-time fee to purchase a classified ad (listing) to showcase your dress on our platform. Please refer to our pricing page here for more details.

We pride ourselves on our transparency and do not charge any hidden fees or take a commission on the sale of your dress. The entire selling price of your dress goes directly to you.

When you sell a dress on our Marketplace, you create a public listing that can be seen by anyone visiting our Marketplace, and shared on other places on or off Cindabella. 

To sell a dress on Cindabella Marketplace:

1. From the main menu select +Add Listing
2. If you haven’t already, you will be required to complete your Profile by adding a profile photo, sharing your location, adding a public profile name, sharing your social media (optional) and any profile info (also optional). Click Send.
3. Select > Marketplace
4. Select images and upload (1-10)  photos of your dress from your computer.
5. Enter as much info about your dress.
6. To mark an item as Free, you can enter 0 as the price.
7. Click Submit Listing.
8. Choose from a listing option: Featured, Standard or Packages.
9. Pay via our secure payment gateway.
10. Once payment is complete your listing is live.
11. Edit your listing anytime from your Account > Listings

Cindabella is a classified ads platform, we connect buyers to sellers.  We do not take part in the sale.

To buy a dress on Marketplace, you can send a message to the seller to arrange a sale:

1. From the main menu select Explore > Marketplace > choose a category
2. Click an item you want to buy.
3. Click Send Message to send a message to the seller.
4. From here it’s up to you to arrange the sale and shipping.

Determining the price of your dress is ultimately up to you as the seller. While there is no set pricing guide, you can consider factors such as the dress’s condition, brand, style, and market demand to come up with a fair price.

If you’re unsure about how to price your dress, it may be helpful to research similar listings and see how they are priced.

Communication with buyers is done through our in-house messaging system.

As a marketplace, we simply provide a platform to facilitate transactions between parties.

All negotiations, payments, shipping, and returns are handled by the buyer and seller.

There is no limit on the amount of listing you can create in our Cindabella Marketplace.

At Cindabella, we do not have an integrated payment system. As a seller, it is your responsibility to arrange payment directly with the buyer. This will involve agreeing on a payment method, such as PayPal, credit card, or bank transfer.

To ensure a smooth and secure transaction, it is important to follow safe payment practices and communicate clearly with the buyer throughout the sale process.

When it comes to shipping your dress to the buyer, the method of shipment is arranged between the buyer and seller.

As a seller, it is your responsibility to arrange the shipment in a timely manner and provide the buyer with the tracking information. You can choose to use any shipping service that suits your needs and budget, but we recommend choosing a reputable service that provides tracking and insurance options for added security.

Make sure to package your dress carefully to ensure it arrives in the same condition as described in your listing.

As cindabella is a classified marketplace connecting buyers and sellers, the return policy is determined by the individual seller.

We recommend communicating and negotiating the return policy between the buyer and seller for a smooth and hassle-free transaction.

Please check with the seller for their return policy before making a purchase.

To report a buyer you need to find their listing and do the following:

1. Click Report Listing
2. In the text box provide details that will help us verify that this listing violates the terms of service.
3. Click Click Report Listing

Feedback may be left on the sellers listing by the following:

1. Click Write a Review
2. Rate the listing with stars (1=poor to 5=excellent)
3. Write a written review in the text box
4. Click Submit Review

The time it takes for items to sell on the marketplace may vary depending on factors such as price, condition, and demand.

You can promote your dress on the marketplace by purchasing a featured listing or boosting a standard listing to featured for 30 days, optimizing your listings with keywords and sharing on social media.

If your dress doesn’t sell, don’t worry!

Your listing will remain live on our marketplace until it’s sold or until you choose to remove it.

If you’re having trouble selling, you can try adjusting your pricing or listing strategy to improve your chances of finding a buyer.

To help promote your safety, we encourage you to review our Trust & Safety webpage, following tips for buying and selling responsibly, in addition to using your best judgment.

• If you’re meeting someone in person, we recommend arranging your meeting in a public, well-lit area.
• Use online payment methods such as Paypal. You can read Paypal Security for buyers and sellers here.
• Avoid communicating with buyers or sellers privately outside of cindabella. Having a record of your conversations will be helpful in case there is a problem with the purchase or payment later.
• Protect your privacy. Don’t share your financial information or unnecessary personal information with buyers or sellers.
• Verify your purchase before payment. We recommend that you inspect the dress and make sure the seller is genuine. For high-value gowns, you can request a certificate of authenticity or proof of purchase.
• Watch out for counterfeits. It’s illegal to sell counterfeit items in most countries, and counterfeits aren’t allowed on cindabella.
